My brave girls

There was a SureStart Fun Bus in the village park today so I took Grace and Ophelia along. Virtually all of their friends were there too, so we had a fab time with everyone. The kids ran around and played games and the adults sat and chatted. We all had a big picnic for lunch (if you count crisps and cakes as lunch, as that is all I bought from the co-op).

Feeling a bit brighter today, brightened further by my brave girls: Ophelia having her first go on a see-saw and Grace scaling this bridge that would have terrified me at that age (probably still would actually!!).

A year ago: surreal day with my sister and niece when we went to register Mam's death. Ophelia was just a big bump in my tummy.
