Busy Bee

Meanwhile some 8 miles away from Dundee and the torrential downpour Peopletwitcher reported here in Dulmullo we were basking in the sun once again, aware of the cloud circling round the coast but somehow skirting by us! Such is the fickle nature of the microclimate we have here on the east coast of Scotland!

So grabbing the moment once again me and him indoors enjoyed a post work glass of wine. It doesn't happen often as its rare that the wind drops enough to allow for a comfortable evening sitting in the sun :-)

The cosmos in the garden are doing a grand job and as you can see they are keeping the bees busy with their pollen filled heads!

All that said there is no way I am off for a walk this evening as the heavy clouds now look ready to shed their load over the village!

We have heard tell that the Northern lights might well be visible tonight (if the cloud passes) Him indoors is keen to stay up and observe! Bet he is asleep by 10pm!
