The Festival: Day One

Tonight marked the start of the festival for us: the press launch at Assembly, and the night did not disappoint (well, one act in particular did but I'm guessing the press will handle that story with tact).

I forgot just how much I love festival time. I know some of the locals find it a chore but I've only been here 4 years so I'm not sure I'm really a local yet, therefore I'll get on and enjoy it.

I'll try and blip a bit more regularly through August as it's such an interesting month...
