Algal bloom at Roath Park Lake

Real nuisance this! Ever since they dredged the lake, the nutrient levels in the lake have soared. Result this carpet of green that is a devil to get rid of.

Hasn't harmed the bird population - loads of swans, and geese who seem to have decided not to bother to emigrate.
