Abraxas grossulariata

This is a moth that made its way into our living room. I didn't see it again after I took this photo, so either it managed to find its way outside again or it was a victim of the cat.

I've tried to identify it using the internet, and it appears to be a abraxas grossulariata, also known as a magpie moth.
