Sean

Sean is an Advanced Life Support Paramedic. He is often the first person on an accident scene and needs to respond to anything from shootings and stabbings to domestic violence and drownings. He's been in the industry for 15 years... you name it, he's probably seen it.

I have met many sinister, disillusioned paramedics in my job and I don't blame them: Their operations are usually under-staffed, they are under-payed for their skills and they need to deal with the thankless public all hours of the day and night.

Sean has managed to remember that being a paramedic is his job, but it doesn't determine who he is when he's at home. He has managed to leave his work on the road (for the most part anyway) and has not forgotten how to enjoy the simple things in life... like a piece of chocolate cake and a good cup of coffee!

Sean is, above all, my husband... and I love him to bits:)
