Storyteller Series - #103 Kay Mura IN PERSON !

Yes! I got to meet Sayoko Kay Mura! It was so exciting!

This very talented lady (who designed the Storyteller ceramic sculpture garden) was interested in seeing the person who had been featuring her artwork on blipfoto.

She had been on the road for two months and was only in San Diego for 2 1/2 days before returning home. We scheduled time to meet while she visited the Storyteller site.

While we were talking, a mother was taking a phone photo of her two sons climbing on the Storyteller's lap. Kay Mura was very pleased that kids were playing and having fun with the ceramic garden, just as she intended in her design.
I took a blip of her talking to the mother while the kids were playing, and almost used it as my blip of the day, but there was a glare spot from the sun peaking through the tree leaves onto my lens that made it hard to see Kay Mura's face.

THIS was THE perfect ending to this series. Thanks to all for taking the virtual tour!
