come into my parlour

Apparently lots of spiders make a new web every day. This web was one of many, all dewy, that had flies and midges trapped but not eaten. The spider left ages ago leaving a ghost trap.
Ghost traps are the lobster creels that have broken free and continue to trap crabs and lobsters. Old nets are a horrible nuisance on the sea bed as well.
I am going to try to go to Edinburgh over the weekend and maybe next week too.
