Digging 15: Jem.turns

Young Jem was quite eager to pose for her life.turns blip. I think she cycles home past Inspace.

Here she stands on site, mattock in hand, on the spoil-heap from yesterday's blip of the machine.
Using said mattock, she managed to reach the floor surface below her feet, and there found some chemistry glasswear and a pile of bright red powder, I wonder if it was cinnabar or red lead (cinnabar is a mercury ore) both would be rather dodgy in terms of potential poisoning!
So it seems that we've found an 18th-century laboratory :) (Well, it is the site of the Old College of Edinburgh University, so not surprising, really)

M has cooked stuffed round courgettes for tea, so off to have that! Yum :)
