puddle jumping

this week i am spending most of my time at the great lakes natural resources camp. kids learning about fisheries, wildlife, wetlands, watersheds, lakes, coastal processes. all in the best of ways: out in the field. when not learning from the staff of biologists/ecologists/resource professionals, there is sailing, kayaking, snorkeling, canoeing, survival skills, orienteering... you name it. in my eyes - a pretty perfect set up.

today, just after i finished teaching sailing and fixing the boats we discovered had many a problem... the rain came. in complete downpour. afterwards, fellow americorps member, justin, took to the puddles. the fun isnt exclusively for the kids! ready.... SPLASHHHH
