Saranay Motel

I went filming with Alice and a few other friends today. We drove two cities away and it felt like such a different environment there. Amazing how only several miles away an entirely new atmosphere is present. Basically, we searched for a pay phone for the longest time and finally found one behind a BP gas station. We shot with our multiple cameras and tripods while people awkwardly looked at us while they added gas.

Down the street were these cool looking oldish motels with those signs you see in Vegas. I wanted my blip to be there so I made Alice take a picture for me since she doesn't like modeling. Today made me realize that I really need to venture out more beyond the familiar boundaries, which I will do the rest of my summer!

With five of us in the car, I blasted 500 Days of Summer soundtrack, of course. Sweet Disposition the most because that's the only way it should be played--blasted and sung loudly.

Color splash to highlight the sign, my matching dress, and matching bracelet. Totally unplanned how they all coordinated. I got that bracelet on Saturday during the Tidal Wave event.
