I Palindrome I

Today's photo is a blatant filler - apologies! But I am not going to break a photo a day just yet, when I'm going strong at 213 days and counting so far.

After another long day (no reason - Mondays are just always long), by 10:30 I was in need of several things.

- First, something lighthearted to wind down with, to take my mind off ... well you know the kind of things I mean. My mind's been taken off them now so I won't change all that by mentioning them again.

- Second, a photograph. I tell you all now, I will complete this journal with a photo on every day for the year 2010, all honestly and legitimately taken by me on the day concerned.

- Thirdly, I needed my bed.

This photo takes care of points 1 and 2 simultaneously. A page from a silly book I picked up a few days ago consists only of palindromes. Suffice it to say it's entitled "Go hang a salami, I'm a lasagna hog", and can be summed up by the review on the back cover: "wow". And now, blog obligations met (just), it's time to skim through the rest of the book and very soon take care of point 3.
