Eat me

This is a `Desert Locust`, obviously slightly larger than life.......60 x lifesize to be exact. It`s automated and every 5 minutes or so, it raises itself on its back legs and extends its wings before settling down again
It`s part of the edible insect display in the Highcross that`s going on this month.
There is actually a place in Somerset that where you can purchase edible insects like this and according to the info board, when fried, they taste not unlike pork scratchings.
Personally, I`d rather pull my fingernails out........
