Cherry bowl

Tis the season for cherries and peaches, sweetcorn and tomatoes, and all the fresh produce the summer growing season has to bring.

Before dinner I sat on the back deck nibbling on cherries in the twilight hum of the cicadas. I could think of nothing better to blip for the day than the bowl of them as the star quality of my blips are daily diminishing in the tired heat and old familiarity of home.

Simple pleasures.
