Baloo and the 3 Rescues

By Iselle

Paddington vs Pooh

Baloo went in for his big snip this morning... I felt like a real traitor leaving him there, but I knew it was the right thing to do. He was overjoyed to see the vet and the reception staff and gladly followed them into the hospital area, blissfully unaware that I had turned to leave. They phoned me late-morning to tell me that everything had gone well and that he was awake. We can fetch him around 6pm this evening.

I've taken leave this week and spent the day with Paddington, who has been a little out of sorts without Baloo around. Paddington has shown very little interest in his favourite toy since Baloo's arrival in April, but today he wouldn't let Pooh Bear out of his sight. We played "fetch" with Pooh Bear in the backyard for almost an hour this afternoon... Paddington has finally settled down and is now fast asleep at my feet. 'll take him for a walk before we fetch Baloo this afternoon - just to make sure he doesn't give the little boy a hard time tonight.

I think I'll make the most of my week at home and start off with a Monday afternoon nap:)
