Glittery Wings

I was feeling pretty blah today, but I had to get outside at some point to take photos of something - anything. The sunlight today was so beautiful. It cast this orangey-red tint to everything today, thanks to smoke in the atmosphere over much of Western Washington. So I headed outside to a neighbor's lavender bush where the bees were busy buzzing all around. Right next to the lavender is a hydrangea bush where this little guy was taking a little break. I didn't even realize until I uploaded my photos how the light caught on the wings and just glowed.
