A missed blip
"What's that?" I asked a couple, staring intently at something in the marsh.
"A beaver!" they told me.
So the three of us stood and watched the spot where the something had just submerged. Although we waited for a while, the surface of the water remained smooth, and the beaver didn't reappear. I finally gave up on the beaver and blipped several wood ducks who were skimming the surface of the pond for insects.
