peaceful slumber

Mr B is cream crackered. He had a VERY late night yesterday and then got up early to go to Trent Bridge to watch the cricket. He only saw a bit of cricket as it finished pretty quickly. He stayed around for some lunch and got the train back and then barely kept his eyes open as I yabbered on at him this evening.

So, I was determined to be as quiet as a mouse so as not to disturb him when I got into bed tonight. I crept into bed and then realised I hadn't set my phone alarm for the morning. Not wanting to put the light on, I then scrambled around in the dark to find said phone. Long story short, it took an age to find, I kept going flying as I tripped over furniture and Mr B was very much awoken from his slumbers. I am more like an elephant than a mouse. Mr B is thankfully a forgiving and gracious sort.
