I like fog...

.. it walks in on little cat paws (thank you, Carl Sandberg). It's also the way many plants in coastal northern California get their water in summertime, like the bay laurels in the foreground. Redwoods are especially famous for getting their water this way; there are no redwoods at Huckleberry Preserve. There's some concern that climate change will effect the amount of fog that comes our way.
