Well, really, in the words of Peggy Lee ... Is That All There Is?

I've just pulled one of the bags of potatoes that I've been tending carefully for the last 3 months. I'm not usually a half-empty kind but I was really expecting more, or maybe less, less biggies, more smallies? They're all different sizes which surprised me. In the words of another classic 'Big Ones, Small Ones, Some As Big As Your Head'.

I can't complain I guess, I bought the Maris Peer seed potatoes in Poundland (guess how much?) and split the bag with my friend, I planted two bags so this little lot has cost 25p. Looked at that way, it's pretty good, eh? Feeling better now. Still got one bag of this type left to pull, and another of Rooster.
