rest day

Due to general malaise and not-feeling-much-life-painting-ness we did no painting today (clearly visible from the lack of paint on the roller), instead popping briefly out to buy food when we needed some fresh air. I headed to the flat a little later again to dump the dust sheets ready for tomorrow and to pop to the flat-proximal Lidl for another couple of weeks' worth of fruit juices. It was raining nicely just as I headed out with the result that the clearest rainbow I've ever seen was presented against the dark grey cloud over the hill to the south-east. I didn't bother trying to get it as they never come out as impressive as they are in real life and my camera was packed tightly in beneath several dust sheets and a spare measuring tape to find out how much more skirting-board we'll need.
