Happisburgh Lighthouse
This lighthouse on the North Norfolk coast is in the lovely village of Happisburgh,[Pronounced 'Haze borough] the village is being lost to the sea and its tragic to see the remains on the beach of what was once someones home.
The lighthouse featured on the TV programme 'Challenge Anneka' when Anneka Rice and her team painted it during the course of a day or two, then there was a shower and all the red paint ran into the white and it all had to be done again !!!!
It was also the setting for one programme in the series 'Kingdom' with Stephen Fry.Anyway thats where I've been today to visit some friends, its difficult to park here now ............the car park and the tea rooms are also lost to the sea! what a shame.
Off to the farm tomorrow for a few days so will back blip later in the week, enjoy the rest of the weekend xxb
