Evening Lake

Today was windy and cloudy day. When I went to the lake in the evening I hoped good wind and nice sky but wind was not blowing anymore. Sky was good enough but I was there too early. Maybe later the horizon could have been red. Anyways, this kind of picture today.

For those who are interested I used both graduated ND and polarizing filters. Graduated filter to keep the sky dark and polarizer to make the sand visible under the water. They both made the shutter speed slower but unfortunately not slow enough. I would have needed a two to three stop ND filter still to get a picture I wanted. Or stay couple of hours longer there by the lake and wait until it got darker.
