Grandfather

today we decided to travel to my grandmother's city of Darmstadt, where she grew up. it's a great story that I might share sometime :)

while traveling we stopped to picnic in a city called Lauffen, which is funny since "laufen" means to run so my brother was confusted as to why a city was called "running" :)

i took this candid shot of my Opa standing on some old stairs that we found in the town. i like this shot quite a bit actually!
