Vadstena Cathedral

One of the oldest churches in Sweden, from a time when we were all still catholic. It was part of one of our most celebrated convents, and Saint Brigit lived here. Many noble men and women found their last resting place here, including my own forefather, king Karl Knutsson Bonde.

My family do this day trip every year. Usually it's just the girls, but this year the men tagged along. We visited the lovely antique stores and ate a lot of good food. Before we left, veteran cars took possession of the parking lot for a wee veteran car festival. A band started playing ...
