Another exhausting day. To London and back. Was thinking on the way down how just 10 years ago that would have really been a long day. But now with fast speed trains its just another day.
Went to pitch for a new piece of business. Lots of stresses and nerves pre meeting but went through our presentation in coffee shop beforehand and am pleased to say all went well. Wont know their decision till next week. Fingers crossed.
The best part of the day though for me is getting off the train at Oxenholme and smelling that fresh Lakeland air after being in the big smog.
Tonight was special though. The sky was beautiful, the sun was shinning, and right outside the station exit was this artist just painting the view and chatting to passers by. Now there's not many stations with views that are worthy of that attention. Not a good blip i know but a good reminder of the beauty around.
