The Ukelele Man

Today at lunch i visited a music shop that my friends work in. They specialise in Ukeleles. The shop is having a magazine article done on them so they wanted some pics to use - thay asked me and i said sure why not. Here is one of the pics.

Ukeleles originated in the 19th century. They first started popping up in Hawaii when many portuguese immigrants arrived there. I learned today that Ukeleles can be very expensive - i held one that was almost £1000. It was made of metal and wood so i named it 'Sea Sick Steve' as it just reminded me of him.

If ever you are in Bournemouth pop into the Southern Ukelele store and have a look. Perhaps even buy one - i did, mine is red!!!
