Still Alive

Slept long in the morning, the whole family did, in fact. Surprisingly long.

Again we missed the fun of a boat trip - timing was a bit off of the sleep time of our little princess. This time it was to the local farmer's.

Instead, I did rig our two windsurf boards. I surfed with the old, narrow and unsteady board from the 80's while my sister-in-law and my dear wife used the new, fat and stable board we bought two years ago.

Being old, narrow and unsteady, it's fast. It's just impossible to ride slowly with the little racer.

The only problem is that the there's always a risk that the boom knot might loosen from the mast and could drop. I should by a new boom for the old rig. The new boom fasteners are so better than the good-old-fasten-with-a-rope trick.

In the evening this thunderstorm passed us roughly 5 km south of us. There was almost none clouds above us. I took roughly a hundred pictures while trying to capture a lightning. I did, infect, capture 5 of them; 2 of them being quite good, others being behind the nearby trees.

This was my try to take a picture of the beautiful thunderstorm cloud.

As an extra bonus, I got this lightning.
