My friend, Mary, asked me to do a photo shoot of her downtown. She made it extremely easy; she had already scouted the locations, so all I had to do was show up and point the camera.

Mary didn't want any "pretty" places - she wanted to show the real, old Beaumont. Apparently, this is a place where people can bring old couches, desks...pretty much anything that's too big for the trash, and it's free for the taking. She, however, was not an item of discard.
