Drying Out

I seem to have a strange fascination with mops. Whenever I see one, I cannot resist taking a photograph. I don't know whether deep in my subconscious I have been influenced by the Second World War radio show It's That Man Again, more commonly known as ITMA, which featured a character called Mrs Mopp, the office charlady -- cleaner for American readers. Her catchphrase was, "Can I do you now, sir?"

The show was broadcast way before I was born, so I don't really know how it has come to penetrate my psyche.

This shot wasn't my first choice for today's blip but the CEO and CFO of the household said it was her favourite. "It's got personality," she said.
