'Floaty florals'

My blip for today is of some pretty flowers in my back yard in Battersea. I tried to ensure that the flowers were in focus and the background blurred, however the whole thing looks like it's in soft focus and kind of merges with the evening sky.

I'm still very new to all of the features and settings of my DSLR, so still just work my way around each one until I'm happy with a resulting image...that often means I end up with 10/15 of one picture!

One of the brands I work on is launching its new collection to the press tomorrow, and I've volunteered to take the pictures amidst running the event - wish me luck!

Perhaps my Thursday blip can be something I take there...
