Meet the family

I suppose I should introduce the family, or the inhabitants of Basse Copette. This is Black Chatte. Yes, I know. Not the most original name. But Black Chatte was here when I moved in and was determined to stay ... new-owners-with-cat not withstanding!

For the first three years, she ran like the clappers whenever she saw anyone. But, on one snowy morning in January 2008 I found her huddled against the snow under a plum tree. I just had to give her some food.

We have been friends ever since.
