Wonky.

Bought a new lampshade for the bedroom that's just been done up - one size fits all apparently....

Needless to say though, the connectors didn't work and I either had to rewire or improvise. So an old lampshade bit the dust so that I could get the middle bit out to add to my new support. It's temporary, but it works.

Glad the room is finished. We've had men in the house intermittently since February and although many of them are guys that we know quite well, it is always a bit of a strain.

You just know that the morning you have to get up early for somebody coming WILL be the morning that the bed will be it's most comfortable ever... you just know that the day you have to be in waiting for that delivery which nobody can give you a time frame for WILL be the day that the sun is shining and all is well with the world., etc., etc., etc.

Still got a ways to go, but for the moment we'll take a rest on the stuff inside the house. Now I think the mega wonky garden / shed needs a bit of TLC.
