Crowd in the Sun

We drove to the ocean today
walked amongst the crowd
in the sunshine.

We stopped and sat down for a while
listening to the sea
and the chatter of people,
children and birds.

I like the place
even if it's a bit crowded
when the sun is at its warmest
I think I'll return during the winter months
and see what it's like then.

They even have lifeguards...
