teenage kicks

still a bit fluffy and brown around the edges, the bluetits are definitely growing up in just a few weeks (see over here for comparison). they're more skittish and fluttery as well as getting adult feathers.

then again, i've now got five or six baby goldfinches still all *flapflapflapfeedme!!* to watch :-)

parents up for the day today, with plants, sacks of birdseed and food parcel. first thing my dad did when they arrived was go out the back door to check out my garden - and i'm pleased to say he was impressed! he was very envious of my carrots in particular :-)
