Thanks Yoga Mama!

Ever since we saw Finlay in his frog the Grants have hankered after a similar bike seat for Noah. I found a rear-mounted seat unbalanced me...I'm fairly unbalanced anyway <grin> and a centre mounted one sounded great.

So after trying out a few on holiday at a bike centre we decided on this one: centre mounted and with a padded extension bit designed so that if when he falls asleep he has a headrest...and he also has something to hold on to while he's awake.

We tested it out tonight. The bike feels very stable and Noah was reassured by me being so close. He was a bit unsure at first, especially about the helmet but was soon giggling and babbling away at all the exciting scenery, and hooting with laughter as Henry sped past, performed a death-defying spin and sped past again the other way repeatedly. I turned over the camera to Bob this evening as it's a bit tricky taking a self-portrait while cycling and trying not to overbalance!

So thanks for the idea Yoga Mama and we're looking forward to lots of cycling trips this summer :-)
