Deery Me...

Did you know that Deer antlers can grow at 2cm a day? They also grow new ones every year. This stag, staggeringly has only been growing this set since March.

We had a brill day out at the Scottish Deer Centre up in Fife. You can take a tractor trailer ride out into the fields and get up close and very personal (I got rather slimed and slavered) with the different deer species they have and feed them. They also had wolves, otters and birds of prey who put on a very impressive falconry display. Having a 2 foot owl sitting on your picnic table just centimetres from you is very cool.
