TWO YEARS TO GO... LET THE GAMES BEGIN!

London 2012 - the opening ceremony will take place exactly two years today. WOW! The construction of the Olympic Park is ahead of schedule and on budget - 9.3 BILLION POUNDS!!!

Legacy was one of London's key selling points when it was a candidate city for the Games, and I can only hope that this is not going to be a victim to the budget cuts. Stratford in East London and the other four Olympic boroughs are deserving places for regeneration. I also hope that the rest of the United Kingdom gets involved and that they reap the benefits of this great sporting event.
