FDR

A statue of the 32nd President of the USA, Franklin D Roosevelt, overlooks Oslo harbour and the Aker Brygge district. It's one of three statues dedicated to leading Allied figures of the Second World War in Oslo, the other two being Winston Churchill and US General George C Marshall - the latter in honour of the Marshall Plan which helped Norway and the rest of Europe rebuild after the war.
