fig.6

Buying a house is an adventure, especially in a new country. Today I have found out that I need to insure "my" new house from the day I signed contract. What???? I don't own it, I haven't paid for it, I don't live in it, but I have an insurance policy for it.

We went to The House tonight. The vendors were so kind that they offered to explain everything about workings of the property, go through the building inspection and the general chat. We will also be meeting before the settlement to have the garden tour (learning how to care for hundreds of plants, bushes and trees) and a book review session (to see what Mr H will want from their book collection leftovers).

They are obviously downsizing big style. Very brave. Big changes ahead. And they are ahead of us as well. We will be in a new to us side of town, Hanna will have to change school sooner or later, I won't be cycling. I'll do gardening instead and be able to read again on public transport. I have missed that.

Che che che changes...

PS
I think the series of life.turns has happened in a very appropriate time of our lives. Not mentioning that the visit of my sister is even more appropriate and convenient. Good not planning is becoming my speciality.
