Celebration

As many Buddhists celebrate a day of lent today, we (the students in the dorms) are preparing for another celebration. Next month will be the BJD's 15th birthday. (BJD is the dorm, in Thai "House of One Heart") We have spent hours making these flowers and planning food, games, and everything else for the celebration. For me, it's great to have something to work on as I practice the Thai phrases I learned earlier in the day with the students. They are so sweet about letting me practice, helping me with pronunciation, and reminding me over and over of the words I seem to always forget.
