Piping plover

This is one of "My"piping plovers fledglings. I had been following the piping plovers, since they built their nest at the beginning of the beach loop on Massachusetts Audubon sanctuary. I have taken pictures during the nesting season, at the time of hatching, and have followed the chicks through fledging. This is a picture of one of the fledged chicks, who is probably ready to migrate.
