The Briggait

The BriggaitBriggait started off life as Glasgow's fish market and is such a beautiful building. It has had a bit of a chequered past as no-one could really come up with a good idea of how to use such a large space. Finally it has found a wonderful use and is houses artists studios along with other interesting groups.

At the weekend it had it's grand opening and I popped (or is that hobbled) over to see a friend Helen Shaddock in her natural habitat. I'm very jealous of the space the artists have and really hope the facilities and sense of community continues to grow.

Was very tired after all that walking so it was a quiet evening at home for me.
