Street racer

It's amazing that although it is the first Monday in the summer holidays, the number of kids outside and playing before lunchtime is exactly zero - although the remnants of their play is definitely in evidence. Nothing spooks me more than an empty street during the holidays....

Of course this all changed in the early afternoon but the image of deserted streets without any sounds is still haunting...
