We were going to have a weekend up at Glen Affrick, but with the weather looking fairly grim towards the West, we took a last minute decision to head to the Cairngorms.

Seeing as there was no camping available near Aviemore ( I personally like my campsites to have running water and a hot shower ) we trawled the internet and found that the Invercauld campsite in Braemar had a pitch available.

So this is the view looking to the East from the porch of our tent.
