Mystic River...

...or in this case, Mystic Lake!

I spent this weekend with my family on Ullswater Lake in the Lake District. We took a boat over to a place called Howtown on the other side of the lake, and I captured this shot of my little sister testing out how deep the water was - fitting for blip number one I thought!

Having spent the last hour trying out all different ways of editing the picture, I've decided to upload it in its original form. I just love the way the branches and water seem to meet, and of Anna as she carefully tries to make sure the water doesn't go into her wellies.
