Pretty but just not practical!

Katie had the most gorgeous little dresses given to her when she was born. One of my favourites was a beautiful olive green classic winnie the pooh dress, in newborn. I was gutted when she grew out of it. But then I found it on ebay in 6-9 months and snapped it up! This is the dress. ...

......However........ I was somewhat shortsighted in buying a dress. I'd entirely overlooked that Katie would attempt to crawl on a church hall floor in it and find that impossible. Beautiful Dress was removed, replaced by Katie's uniform leggings.

So I wanted to blip the dress as I love it so much and still thinks she looks adorable in it.

It's been a completely wonderful day. We had a baptism at our church, in the sea! We think though that this was chosen merely as it gave us a great excuse for a fantastic picnic by the sea. Of course, Katie and I were in the sea, even before the picnicking had finished (like I was going to be able to convince Katie to eat when the sea was that close!!) After the beach trip, we'd been invited to Katie's first barbecue, good company, good food, good weather... great day! A very happy but exhausted Katie flopped to sleep at 6.30pm, snuggled across the bottom of her cot, as she has now taken to doing!
