If you go down to the woods today ....
You're sure of a big surprise!!
If yesterday was good, today was possibly gooder!
Another 8am jaunt through the woods with Alfie the boxer, back home via Craigie Farm shop (blinking heck, its dear, £7 for a kilo of raspberries!). Skim through the papers then attack the garden - for 6 hours - the sun was shining and I'm a little burnt now. I had my Daisy Dukes on (or my 'Hattie Jacques' might be more apt) and a bikini so although I'm pink rather than my normal light blue there's no lines.
Decided to fight the system so at 6pm I took Alfie back to the woods to forage for wild raspberries. Smaller than the ones from the farm 200 yards away but tasty, organic and very very free. The funniest thing was Alfie watching me picking them and then he started to pick his own. At Craigie prices he must have eaten about £1.50's worth.
Anyway, to the blip. I caught Alfie looking at this and between trying to keep him away and laughing like Sid James (me not him, I think he'd sound more like Bob Hoskins), I managed to snap it. Yes, it was growing horizontally out of a tree, not rotated. No idea what it is but I'm sure someone v clever on here will let me know shortly. Know what it looks like though, phnaaar phnaaar.
