Mum in Sitges

Mum will be on her way back to Scotland tomorrow, so I thought I'd post a shot that does her a little more justice than yesterday's life.turns number! It's taken on the paseo at Sitges, just a half hour's drive south from Barcelona. We usually have a Sunday lunch there, and this is Mum's first high summer visit...she was amazed at the holiday crowds and parasols on the beach.

I like the photo because I see something of the carefree young woman that is so evident in some of the older photos in the family album. Not bad for an 84 year old!
