STEAMING ON A SUNDAY
The Royal Scot, was due along the Settle to Carlisle line today so we arrived at Skipton station in good time to see its arrival. The train was late, and due to unforseen whatevers had been replaced by 48151 Gauge O'Guild. I thought it quite amazing that a spare steam train could be rustled up to save the day, and I'm sure the people who had paid a tidy sum to travel by steam were relieved that they had not spent the day behind a diesel engine.
I have back-blipped for yesterday if anyone would care to look.
